It's been only a few months since the Crimean Peninsula was again incorporated into Russia, and the referendum is already history. Current events in Ukraine are now dominating the media. But what is daily life now for the inhabitants of Crimea? There are many hurdles: new passports, new residence registration, new bank. The old Ukrainian bank has been closed. Where are people's investments and savings? What will happen when the euphoria is over and the problems begin: at the workplace, in schools, dealing with official agencies? Will there be rifts within families? What will happen to the original inhabitants of Crimea, the Tatars? Will they be driven out again? What do the ethnic Russian residents expect?
