Many in the region around Hebron earn their living by selling scrap metal sourced from electrical waste. Around 30 tons are believed to be burned every day, polluting the environment on both sides of the separation barrier. Local authorities in the town of Idhna are determined to clamp down on this illegal industry, but their efforts are in vain.
