Each year, the Marin County Probation Department honors its most successful probationers by including them on the “Wall of Change” in the department’s lobby and celebrating them in a public ceremony at the Civic Center. This is usually a highly emotional ceremony (tears and hugs) because so few probationers have experienced success in their lives or received an ovation for doing something good.
